Golf
Buggy
We
had a boy’s few days away at Durban a few weeks ago mainly to pick up a couple
of bikes Ralph had shipped over to race and although that part of the trip was a
failure the rest was good fun!! We arrived in
Durban
at our pr-arranged apartments and where all blown away by the place. The main
apartment overlooked the ocean and it was not long before large quantity’s of
beer where being digested, a well earned drink after a long drive. Jodie made us
all a traditional dinner of curry inside half a loaf of fresh bread with the
middle ripped out and placed back on top, yummy. People then started to fall
asleep on the settees and chairs. I decided that it was time to find the other
apartment so Jeff and myself unhooked the trailer and set of to find it.
Eventually we did find it complete with its own golf buggy!!! Brilliant!!!! Jeff
wandered off to his bed and I set of in the dimly lit lanes on my new very first
golf buggy to pick up Turp from the beach front apartment. I soon found that you
could have the buggy flat out everywhere and it was stable and screeched and
skidded very nicely. I picked up Turp and we had a very nice ride back to our
place looking at the small deers and monkeys on the way. Next day we all decided
a trip to the beach was in order so six up we rode the buggy down the beach
(flat out of course) and you have never heard a bunch of knee down roughy toughie
race bike riders squealing like girls to slow down before!! He he!! and
somewhere along the way, I think when we were going round and round in circles
trying to get up on two wheels Jeff's
phone fell out. Later that day me Clinton
and Jeff did manage to get it up on two wheels with
Clinton
standing on the back rocking it!! And much fun was had later that night at
about 3 in the morning screeching it to a halt again and again in the dead of
night. I want one of my own please!!!
