Talk about landing on your feet!!!

First night here I stayed at the Holiday Inn, Cape town , very nice I was very tired so needed somewhere to stay quick.

Day Two:
Got a taxi to Blaauberg and walked into a pub called Fergies, and that's went it all began to go right. Met Marian the owner who introduced me to Genevieve le Roux, among many other people. Thanks to these two great people I now have a car being delivered Monday and am able to follow Gen up the East Coast of the " Garden Route " and be able to see the best places and sharing a few beers on the way!!! Like I said, talk about landing on your feet!!! (Gen by the way is a tour guide).

Today, thanks to my new friends, I have booked and paid for my flight to meet Turp, Jane, Mick and Sam on the 16th to meet Ralf and Rose.

To hire a car over here without a credit card is an impossible task, but thanks to Gen, it has been done. Not only that but she ran me over to the city saving me taxi fares and even got her friends to give me a lift back, does it get any better than that? Yes it does they are delivering the car to my guest house!!

NOTE TO PARENTS
Stop worrying, the people over here are very nice and already I feel at home. Looking forward to seeing more of this wonderful and diverse country.
