“ Park Town Prawn”

I found this little fella behind Turp and Jane’s bed whilst Turp and I where giving the whole house a complete de-insecting under very strict orders from Jane after she nearly sat on the scorpion!! We where just sitting having a beer after leaving the other household to get some sleep when I remarked to Jane that I had seen a grasshopper near her leg and not to panic. I hadn’t seen the Scorpion on the next step up close to where Jane was sitting, as soon as she got up we could all see the scorpion on the step. I ran to the kitchen got a glass and threw it to Turp who trapped the unsuspecting creature under it, trapping a bit of its claw in the process and making it somewhat angry!! Jane couldn’t see from the ceiling she was clinging to but the scorpion was stinging the side of the glass with all it was might.
A shame, as I don’t like to kill anything but he had to see the underside of my “Reebok” didn’t fancy a very angry extremely poisonous scorpion running round the room in the night trying to get its revenge!!  What with that and the “PTP” and a thunder storm and big gaps in our walls to let in the fleeing animals I don’t think we got a really good nights sleep but what an unforgettable experience.
