 My BMW GS650 Dakar

Its March 2008 and I am back in the UK now after a fairly short visit to Africa only 9 weeks.
I managed to clock up some K's on the Dakar and a fair amount of dirt roads and a few river crossings.
Good preparation for a big African bike trip in a few years time me thinks :-)
As always I had a truly amazing time!!  A big thanks to all my friends in Africa :-)

For those of you who are visiting my website for the first time you MAY? find this interesting?? For avid followers of my breathtaking adventures though some of the mostest dangerious parts of the planet and beyond you know all this anyway ;-)
I am English and almost 40 ;-) hmmm! I work as a builder in the UK for 6 - 8 months a year then escape to Africa and OZ etc. I have been doing this for the past few years and I LOVE IT!! This year I bought myself a bike and have left in SA for next time. I have also been doing some building projects as I travel to keep me out of trouble ;-)
Using This website I will endeavor to allow backstage access to any lucky lucky person who wants it. Stories, photo's, wit, yet more photo's and lots of very useful information. Especially about me!! So sit back roll yourself a doobie and have a flick through the wonderland that is my life (so far) :-)
